Still sinking in…

Published by Editor under living nude

Gentle reader, you have a right to expect more than a solitary blog post after our first full week of living The Nude Life for real last week when we initiated housekeeping at our new home in a beautiful nudist resort in Central Florida. Truth is, we have a LOT more to blog about, but we were just too busy doing all the things that needed to be done while we were there to get many blog posts online, and so now it’s time to catch up since we’ve been back in Texas for a few days.

We realized a few days into our week that any calculations we had made prior to the visit about moving to the new house whenever our house in Texas finally sells would need to be re-evaluated. Our plan now is to move to the new house in Florida as soon as possible, so as not to miss a single minute of the glorious summertime weather and fun. So, wheels are in motion now to make the move during June if at all possible, advancing many different plans by several weeks and months to make that happen. The simple fact is that we both underestimated the intoxicating delight of living nude full-time until we actually got a chance to settle into it, and now that we have tasted it for real, everything else takes a back seat to making that happen sooner rather than later.

After closing on the new house and taking up residence in the new house last Friday, we finally got to the point where we had no reason to leave the park for days at a time, since we had done most of our errands and shopping for supplies during the first two days of the week. That meant remaining comfortably nude day and night, and in all modes of activity: sleeping, watching TV, doing chores, cleaning, relaxing by the pool, dining, riding the bike around the resort, going for walks in our new neighborhood, driving the recycling down to the collection bins, going to the mailbox, getting the morning newspaper, and so on and so on.

The luxury and bliss of simply not having to think about clothes and what to wear at every hour of the day is nothing new to us, having experienced it many times at visits to nudist resorts and aboard many nude cruises. But once that freedom is experienced inside your own home and within an entire development spanning hundreds of acres, it really starts to sink in: this is The Nude Life, and it is incredible.

Mixed in with that delight is the knowledge that you have just made friends with dozens and dozens of new neighbors who live the same way you do now, and for the same reason: they love the freedom and simplicity of being nude everywhere and at all times during their everyday life, without shame and without pretension. Simply living with others who share our love of the great joy of social nudism, in a beautiful and serene environment where it is vigorously encouraged, is remarkable indeed.

We have much more to report, and many more adventures still ahead in the weeks leading up to the actual move to Florida full-time, so stay tuned. And feel free to post your comments and thoughts on any subject relating to The Nude Life here on the blog, or in The Nude Life Forum.
