One gentleman who has devoted much thought and energy to the relationship of Christianity and nudity is Jim C. Cunningham. He is the author of the books "Nudity & Christianity", "Our Wonderful Bodies", and "Vermont Unveiled". He also published the magazine "Naturist Life International". Oh, and as a result of juvenile diabetes, he is totally blind.

I didn't mind your rant a bit. I feel the same way. A lot of Christians seem to feel that salvation is only possible through pain and suffering because of the pain and suffering Christ went through. To them all fun and joy must be rooted in sin.

At a nudist venue, I find I have far fewer lustful thoughts than I would have in a similar clothed venue. Though it may seem contradictory to most textiles, I find that being nude can actually be more modest than wearing clothing. At least we're not hiding or drawing attention to anything. I think that imagining the "naughty" parts is what leads people astray.

No need to get politcal. I have been going to Saint Martin the first part of November (US election time) for many years. Politics has always been a lively discussion point on the nude beach. I was very surprised to find out that the majority of beach goers I talked to were conservative and Christian. There is also evidence that Rush Limbaugh is a naturist!
